Travel Occupational Therapist - Pediatrics

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist with a valid CA OT license and hand therapy specialty at an acute care hospital with day shifts.

Job Details

• Position based in an acute care hospital setting,

• Pediatric patient population,

• Day shift schedule, working 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 to 16:30,

• Floating to other facilities within 75+ mile radius may be required,

Job Requirements

• Active CA OT license (license required if applicable),

• Certified Hand Therapist certification or California Advanced Practice license in Hand Therapy and Physical Agent Modalities,

• Current AHA BLS certification required,

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience,

• COVID vaccination and booster required with proof prior to start,

• Pediatric experience highly preferred,

• Prior travel experience within the last 12 months preferred,

• Teaching hospital experience preferred,

Additional Information

• Must complete pre-start and annual training modules, typically 8 hours,

• May be required to float to other departments, units, or facilities as needed,

• Requests for time off must be submitted and approved at the time of offer, and additional requests mid-contract are not accepted,

• Travel pairs are allowed but will not work on the same unit,
