Occupational Therapy Aide SUMMARY
Under general supervision, assists the therapists of Occupational Therapy and Patient Activities in administering patient care programs within the areas of specific treatment, supporting and maintenance programs. This position is restricted to setting up and adjusting equipment and only occasionally assisting in treatment. They are not trained and possess no theory of rehabilitation basis of treatment. Performs related duties as required.
DUTIES& ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Education: Completion of an Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculum approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association; or an Associate of Arts Degree in recreation from a two-year college or the equivalent.
Minimum Experience: Position does not require certification, but does require three years as an aide in an organized recreational program in a medical setting.
PAY RANGEPAY RANGE: $32.29 - $39.10/HR
The pay range for this position reflects the base pay scale for the role at Alameda Health System. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licenses and certifications, departmental equity, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and the operational needs of the organization.
