Tax Preparer

Description

Are you an experienced Tax Preparer looking to join a dynamic team? Our company is seeking a detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience using Lacerte or CCH tax software.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns using Lacerte or CCH software.

+ Review financial records and documents to identify potential tax issues and opportunities.

+ Research federal, state, and local tax laws to ensure accurate tax compliance.

+ Communicate with clients regarding tax documents, deadlines, and preparation status.

+ Assist with tax planning and provide recommendations to clients.

+ Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

+ Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Tax Preparer.

+ Proficiency with Lacerte or CCH tax software is required.

+ Strong understanding of individual and business tax preparation.

+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; relevant certifications (EA, CPA) are a plus.
