Senior Accountant

Description

Our company is seeking a Contract Senior Accountant with proven expertise in Sage Intacct to support our finance team during a critical period. This highly skilled professional will play a key role in managing accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and contributing to process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.

+ Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

+ Handle complex account analyses and balance sheet reconciliations.

+ Oversee and streamline processes using Sage Intacct for optimal efficiency.

+ Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and department managers.

+ Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.

+ Lead or assist with system upgrades, process documentation, and compliance initiatives.

+ Provide recommendations for financial process improvements.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

+ Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with senior-level responsibilities.

+ Advanced proficiency in Sage Intacct is essential.

+ Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

+ Demonstrated experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and data analysis.

+ Excellent communication skills; ability to convey complex financial data.
