Join the Kits Cubed Team for Our 2025-26 Programming Year!

Oakland, California - Kits Cubed is excited to welcome aboard three new team members for our 2025-26 program year. To make this vision a reality, we're looking for motivated high school and college students who are eager to help bring creative, hands on STEM learning opportunities to students across the Bay Area. Our open positions offer work opportunities to build leadership, teamwork, and professional development skills while contributing to Kits Cubed's year-round programs and events.

We need you!

Communication & Logistics Coordinator
:
Help us stay connected with schools, partner organizations, & volunteers, and keep programs running smoothly behind the scenes by managing email communications, coordinating with new & existing partners, organizing special projects, and more.

Marketing & Events Coordinator
:
Develop and implement marketing strategy for programming, including consistent & lively Kits Cubed social media posts, managing professional & family-friendly social media presence, developing flyers & promotional graphics, accurately documenting programs, and more.

Curriculum Designer & Instructor
:
Take the lead on designing & teaching engaging hands on STEM activities for our programs and events by developing & instructing curriculum, brainstorming activities for various ages, contributing to curriculum documentation within the team, and more.

• Commit to 8-10 hours per week
• Dedicate intentional time to Kits Cubed programming throughout the 2025-26 school year

Kits Cubed is a youth-led, nonprofit organization with a mission to introduce youth to the wonders of science through fun, affordable, and accessible means. The organization offers an array of community-focused initiatives, including creating science kits, hosting summer camps, providing paid internships and job opportunities for local high school students, teaching hands-on science curriculum in public schools, and organizing large-scale events to foster a passion for science among youth.
