Position InformationPosition Information
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- A minimum one year experience recruiting students for educational opportunities, and/or a minimum one year experience in sales, new business development or corporate recruiting.
- Must be able to relate well and develop working rapport with students, faculty/staff and the business community.
- Experience with managing current social media platforms.
- Ability to travel (in and out of state) throughout the academic year.
- Valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to the university by the university’s insurance carrier.
- Ability to work extended and weekend hours.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Understanding of graduate programs.
- Master’s Degree. Two years experience recruiting higher education students; preferably graduate students, for educational opportunities.
- Experience leading recruiting efforts in corporations and organizations that are aligned with graduate program offerings.
- Working knowledge of Oakland University’s academic policies, procedures and student information systems.
- Familiarity with University support services.

Unless otherwise required by an applicable collective bargaining agreement, all minimum, additional and desired qualifications are preferred, but qualifications, degrees, and/or experience deemed comparable and/or equivalent by Oakland University in its sole and exclusive discretion may be considered.
Position PurposeEnsure that prospective students are recruited, admitted, and oriented to the university and assist in the facilitation of recruitment, yield, and transition programs.
