About the Opportunity
The College of Professional Studies (CPS) at Northeastern University invites applicants to teach undergraduate courses in Psychology. ResponsibilitiesThe undergraduate Psychology degree prepares students with the knowledge, skills and dispositions needed to serve individuals, groups, organizations and communities in a global 21st‑century context. The program emphasizes scientific thinking, ethical behavior, and respect for students, cultivating insight into human behaviors and mental processes and a concern for the wellbeing of both local and global communities.
Course ContentCourse content includes behavioral science, applied behavioral analysis (I & II), autism spectrum disorders, behavioral measurement and evaluation, opioid crisis, contemporary theoretical perspectives, research methods, concepts of human behavior and development, scientific inquiry, behavioral and mental processes, cognition and language, learning and memory, social interactions, personality, diagnosis, measurement and intervention.
