• Listening to your needs and preferences before matching you with assignments
• Providing you your very own designated Scoot consultant – most of our consultants are former educators so they can give advice based on their previous experience
• Doing 1:1 check‑ins and discussing positive and constructive school feedback with you

• Earn up to $30‑$32/hour for day‑to‑day assignments, and more for long‑term roles
• Be a W‑2 employee so no worrying about withholding for taxes
• $0 onboarding costs:
  We reimburse you for expenses related to state background checks and time spent training after you’ve worked your first shift with Scoot.
• Refer friends to substitute with Scoot – after they work 10 shifts, you both earn $100 gift cards

• Work closely with students, either 1:1 or across entire classrooms
• Assist various moderate to severe scenarios such as toileting; personal 1:1 care; non‑verbal; challenging or aggressive behaviors in the classroom
• Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment
• Follow direction from, and assist lead educators

• Valid RBT certification
• Experience in behavioral therapy and working with students with developmental disabilities
• At least 1 year experience working with children/adults with special needs; OR
• At least 1 year in a classroom/education setting
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or 48+ college credits
• Three references with one by a previous direct supervisor
• Take a TB risk assessment & background check (we’ll reimburse the cost of the background check you do with Scoot)

• Have any SpEd‑specific training or applied behavior analysis (ABA) experience
• Are bilingual and/or have bilingual teaching experience
