Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, and In Residence Faculty Series.
The Division of General Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at UCSF and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals is recruiting full‑time and part‑time faculty at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor ranks in the Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, and In Residence series. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
Selected candidates will join a major academic medical center and established training program. This position may have clinical responsibilities at both the San Francisco and Oakland campuses and would actively contribute to the Department’s mission of excellence in research, education, and patient care.
Minimum Qualifications- Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent)
- Eligibility for or possession of a valid California medical license
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics
- Demonstrated interest in clinical pediatrics and clinical education
- Post‑residency clinical experience in general pediatrics (one year preferred, but not required)
- Collaborative experience across pediatric disciplines
- Experience teaching and supervising learners
- Strong commitment to patient‑focused, responsive care
- Commitment to serving the patient populations of UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals
- Dedication to advancing equitable, high‑quality care in an academic setting
