Pediatrics Physician

Vivo Health Staff is looking for a Pediatrician in Oakland, California. This is can be either a part-time or full-time position. For more information, please apply or call 540-JOBS.

The Pediatrician would be in charge of overseeing and providing Pediatric Primary Care to patients in Oakland, California. This position can be a part-time (1-2 days per week) or full-time position. The provider may choose their own schedule.

Duties:

• Provide Pediatric Primary Care services to patients
• Document all care coordination and patient encounters in the EHR and provide timely updates to multi-disciplinary team members.
• Research and facilitate referrals to community services and additional treatment programs based on patient need.
• Supervise Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants providing Pediatric Care Management
• Work at least 1 day per week in the clinic if looking to do a supervisory position only

Required:

• California Medical or Osteopathic Medical License
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Minimum 1 years of experience providing direct patient care

Preferred:

• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Experience with primary care and pediatric urgent care
• Interest in program development and quality improvement initiatives.
