Qualifications- Education/Training: Candidates must have completed a 2-year accredited pediatric surgery fellowship program.
- Experience: Ideally, the candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience practicing pediatric surgery.
- Ideal Candidate: We are looking for someone who is collegial, collaborative, and enthusiastic to join a busy clinical practice with substantial opportunities for teaching and process improvement.
- Role Responsibilities: The position involves managing the full spectrum of pediatric conditions, including managing tumors, neonatal congenital anomalies, lobectomies, and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Note that ECMO, transplant, burn, and trauma cases are not included.
- Practice Scope: Our practice covers a wide range of pediatric surgical conditions, from routine cases to advanced minimally invasive surgeries.

Schedule:
The call schedule is 1:4. Currently, the team consists of three pediatric surgeons and two physician assistants. - Location: The position is based solely at the main medical center in Oakland, CA, which is one of three Pediatric Tertiary Care Medical Centers in Northern California for Kaiser Permanente, offering a full spectrum of pediatric services.

Full‑time annual salary range is $582,340 to $600,360 plus additional potential incentives up to $88,290*. Reduced schedules with pro‑rated compensation may be available. Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
