About the RoleA TCA Project Architect (PA) interacts directly with project teams, managing clients, internal personnel, and external consultants. The PA works closely with a Studio Director (SD) and Project Manager (PM) to direct a project team from the schematic design process through the production of contract documents and into construction administration. The PA collaborates with designers, other project teams, various consultants, and the internal Quality Control team to efficiently deliver the design intent of the project.
Key responsibilities include:
- Code review, oversight, and creation of complete contract documents and specifications
- Redlining drawings and specifications, agency processing, and preparation of Additional Service Requests
- Coordination and management of consultants
- Training and mentoring of the documentation team
- Minimum of 7 years’ architectural experience
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience on multi‑family projects
- Construction administration experience preferred
- Knowledge of Revit required
- Excellent organization skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required
- California licensed Architect required
The Project Architect will be located in our downtown Oakland office. We offer a hybrid schedule of working in the office three days a week and working Thursday–Friday from home.
