Position: Project Architect - New Construction - Mid Level

** Your Role
** As a Gensler
** Project Architect**, your creativity and thoughtfulness will create opportunities in the authorship of engaging human experiences in the built environment. You have professional skills and technical acumen which enable your development and execution of design. In this role, you will evolve your existing strengths while growing towards a leadership role in guiding our clients to design solutions. Based in a studio of our Oakland office, you will join a team serving clients in purpose-built environments for workplace, sciences, and education.

Through our close partnership with clients in such active fields of development, we are able to leverage design to achieve livable cities, reductions in global warming potential, and an engaging work experience for occupants of our projects.
** Your Qualifications*
* * Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited school
* Licensure required
* Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development
* Effective communicator, collaborative and team-conscious
* A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
* Experience resolving complex technical and design issues
* Experience performing zoning and code analysis in multiple jurisdictions
* Understanding of how buildings are constructed, along with the ability to create technical documents that succinctly, thoroughly, and accurately describe the work to be done
* Understanding of sustainable and universal design concepts
* Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills
* Previous experience in sustainable design projects preferable. Especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel and /or Net Zero Building certification
** 5-8+
** years of experience in the profession of architectural design Strong experience working with Revit and Rhino Proficiency with Sketch Up, 3D Max, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred, but not required

Experience managing multiple aspects of client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, and civil consultants Experience working directly with contractors
* The base salary will be estimated between $97,000 - $113,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
