MajorAreas of Responsibility
- Handle all aspects of pediatric dentistry.
- Perform oral exams, restorations, extractions, and prophylactic work.
- Serve as a member of a cross‑functional team of dentists that provides exceptional patient care, performs four‑handed dentistry and oral surgery.
- Treat mouth diseases and confer with physicians regarding medical/dental problems, and assign patients to plaque control or other educational programs.
- Attend staff conferences and keep clinical and other records regarding services provided, supplies and materials used.
The role is most suited to a pediatric dentist with 1–2 years of experience in a primary‑care clinic setting. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired to better serve our culturally diverse patient population. Success in this position requires a high degree of interpersonal competence, building effective relationships with all team members and patients.
MinimumJob Requirements
Qualifications required for this position are as follows:
Required Skills- Graduation from an accredited school of dentistry and possession of a valid D.D.S./D.M.D. license to practice in California.
- Specialization in pediatric dentistry.
- Ability to operate all types of dental equipment and machinery.
- Ability to work across cultures and demonstrate support of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Two or more years of experience in all phases of general dentistry and auxiliary utilization.
$188,326—$247,099 per year
