The Contracts Analyst provides end-to-end contract lifecycle support, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance, and effective coordination across internal teams and external partners. This role supports project managers by managing purchase orders, contract changes, reporting, and negotiations while helping projects stay compliant, on budget, and on schedule.
Your Day-to-Day Activities- Prepare ARIBA Purchase Requisition Requests, Contract Change Orders, CWA’s, and other SAP documents
- Prepares and sends goods receipts
- Prepares and delivers contract status reporting and ensures suppliers are adhering to the contract's terms and conditions
- Oversees records management and contract tracking systems, including Excel, ARIBA, SAP
- Develop contract proposals to support organizational goals
- Review contract estimates, including proposed materials, production costs, etc and determine whether they seem reasonable and accurate
- Ensure that all records are accurate and up to date
- Write contract letters and other communications and notices
- Negotiate and approve contract terms while ensuring that projects remain within the established budget
- Analyze contracts to ensure they comply with state and federal laws and regulations
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with managing purchase orders and contracts
- Strong financial acumen
- Vendor and/or contract management experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Superior attention to detail in order to spot inconsistencies in contracts
- Intermediate level of Excel (basic functions, conditional statements, pivot tables)
- Experience with SAP, Ariba
- Strong negotiation and mediation skills
- Additional education or certifications relevant for a CMA (CFA, PMP)
- $85,000-$110,000 annual salary
