Job Title: Administrative Assistant / Paralegal
Location: Oakland, California, United States
Work Model: Remote until April 1, then full onsite
Our client is a well-established California law firm known for its high-quality legal work and collaborative culture. The firm is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant / Paralegal to support attorneys in a fast-paced office environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, organized, and deeply involved in day-to-day legal operations.
The position offers an initial remote period followed by a full on-site schedule in Oakland, providing stability and long-term growth within the firm.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys
- Manage calendars, scheduling, correspondence, and document organization
- Assist with legal filings, records management, and case support
- Prepare and format legal documents and correspondence
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external contacts
- Support matters from intake through resolution
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative role within an office setting
- Prior experience in a law firm environment preferred
- Some paralegal experience is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
The annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000, depending on factors such as geographic market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
