Nadia Yakoob & Associates is a fast‑paced, award‑winning boutique immigration law firm that focuses primarily on business immigration with some family, criminal and asylum matters. We have openings for full‑time legal assistants. We are looking for self‑motivated and diligent individuals to work at our office in Oakland City Center (right off 12th Street BART Station).
Responsibilities- Assembling petitions, applications and support letters for temporary employment–based visas, permanent residence, naturalization, and asylum, among others.
- Preparing petitions, applications and other immigration documents for filing.
- Scheduling meetings and calls with clients.
- Calendaring follow‑ups.
- Monitoring case status expiry dates.
- Preparing monthly case status reports.
- Helping out with social media and blogposts.
Experience working with Dropbox, Google suite, Office, and Adobe highly preferred.
