Summer Student Office Assistant - Residential Facilities - University Housing

The Student Office Assistants are responsible for supporting the Oakland University Housing, Residential Facility’s Team as well as providing support for the office of the Assistant Director of Finance and Operations Team within University Housing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Must have Oakland University email and apply with your Oakland University email
• Must have sophomore, junior, or senior class standing or be a graduate student at Oakland University by Fall 2025
• Current cumulative and semester GPA must be 2.75 or higher
• A valid Michigan driver's license and driving record acceptable to Oakland University is desired but not required
• Google Workspace experience is needed

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Greet in-person guests and answer phones
• Complete special projects and other tasks as needed
• Learn & know the location of all rooms and equipment in the Housing Department
• Download information to spreadsheets and specific databases
• Provide office support, including but not limited to scanning, data entry, copying, and filing
• Performs work-related on-campus errands and keeps office areas clean and tidy
• Provide support with e-Maintenance
• Be comfortable using the Google Workspace platform, including Sheets, Docs, Calendar, Sites, and Forms
