Bookkeeper

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Bookkeeper job for the corporate office located in Downtown Oakland, CA. This position is hybrid and required to be onsite 2 days a week! The ideal candidate will have to 2 plus years of accounting experience and be proficient with Deltek software. The role will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting doing reconciliations, journal entries, participating in the month-end close, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associates in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred
• Software experience with DELTEK is REQUIRED
• Solid knowledge of accounting knowing your debits and credits
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel Intermediate to Advanced s
• Good communications (written & verbal)
• Team player, cooperative, and quick to learn
• Reliable, dedicated, and meets deadlines
• Detailed, a problem-solver, and organized
• Experience:
  
  2 years of accounting experience (Bookkeeper, Accounting Assistant, Accounting Clerk, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable)
