Accountant, Financial Reporting, Senior Accountant

Accountant – Oakland, CA (Hybrid) – Pay: $45‑50/hr

We are looking for a staff or senior accountant with at least three years of accounting experience, including inventory accounting. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, has strong general ledger experience, and pays close attention to detail.

• Reconcile retail store inventories across multiple locations.
• Perform month‑end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and inventory‑related reporting.
• Conduct general ledger account analysis and create required journal entries.
• Process manual inventory transfer transactions within the inventory system.
• Prepare financial reports and spreadsheets to support internal teams.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners such as Supply Chain, Operations, and FP&A.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and general Office skills.
• Experience with an ERP system such as Oracle or SAP.
• Ability to work overtime, including occasional Saturdays during month‑end close.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and comfort working with high‑volume data.
