EXECUTIVE ACCOUNTING MANAGER

The Executive Accounting Manager will oversee accounting functions, perform specific accounting tasks, improve operations, and ensure accuracy and timeliness. This role supervises the accounts receivable and royalties accounting manager and collaborates with a part-time accounts payable clerk and inventory manager. Experience and qualifications:

  • Five+ years overseeing general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, and monthly closes
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent training
  • Deep knowledge of accrual accounting and terminology
  • Proficiency in accounting software, databases, spreadsheets, and productivity tools
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Experience in entering data, creating reports, and ensuring accuracy
  • Proven track record of responsibility and meeting deadlines
  • Experience in book publishing is a plus but not required
