Transportation/Van Driver – Full Time (Days)

Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health is a 182‑bed treatment facility that specializes in quality behavioral health and substance abuse services for youth, adults and seniors. We offer a full continuum of care through an integrated system of inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.

Schedule
:
Monday – Friday (Mon, Wed, Fri 6:00‑4:30 pm; Tue & Thu 10:00‑3:00 pm).

The Transportation/Van driver provides transportation of patients to and from the facility, observing continuous interaction and role modeling while maintaining safety at all times. Duties include non‑mechanical upkeep of the van, painting and cleaning of patient rooms, offices, public areas and other assigned duties.

• Education:
  
  High school graduate or equivalent.
• Licensure:
  Valid, class‑specific driver’s license applicable to transportation of patients.
• Additional requirements:
  
  Must be 21 years or older and have a good driving record as obtained from the Department of Public Safety.
• Must complete CPR certification and the TEAM Training class with successful use of seclusion and restraint procedures within 90 days of employment.
• May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
