The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store(s). They utilize tools to minimize loss, including identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink elimination culture. Additional responsibilities include preparing detailed case reports, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in court.

The specialist must report hazardous conditions, ensure safety, demonstrate integrity, and support operational and asset protection concerns, all while focusing on store-specific business objectives.
