Overview
We are looking for our next team member who is interested in providing excellent service, is a creative problem solver, and understands the importance of the work we do for the Oakdale community. This position works alongside a crew to maintain and repair critical infrastructure, helping ensure Oakdale is a great place to work and live. We are building a new Public Works Maintenance facility anticipated to be completed by early 2026.
This position contributes to the comfort, convenience, or safety within the City of Oakdale by ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the City street and storm sewer facilities.
Primary responsibilities include snow and ice removal, pavement management and repair, surface water maintenance (including catch basin maintenance), pipe and culvert replacement/repair, sediment and erosion control, and safe operation of a variety of equipment.
