Overview
Mental Health Support Specialist – People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking full-time and part-time Mental Health Support Specialists to give care & support to our clients at our Residential Programs.
Schedule: Full-Time/Part-Time:
Weekday Evenings and Weekends
Locations: Oakdale, MN
Hiring Bonus: $1,000 hiring bonus for external candidates
Hiring Range: $20.50 / Hour
- Shift differential of $1/hour working between 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM
- Shift differential of $1/hour working between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM

Job Duties
- Must have physical presence onsite.
- Document interactions with clients into the organization’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) and if applicable, program-specific documentation/record-keeping system, while providing clear and concise communication with client, staff and other applicable parties.
- Effectively interact and exhibit behavior that is consistent with customer service and professional standards established by the organizational, division and program.
- Responsible for medication administration in accordance with organization and program policies and procedures.
- Using person-centered principles, actively engage with clients in their daily activities, and develop and maintain appropriate relationships that support the client in meeting their individual goals.
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation for clients experiencing mental health symptoms or other emotional responses while prioritizing client and program safety.
- Independent Living Skills, teaching and/or coaching, as it relates to the individual’s goal and/or treatment plans.
- Full-time staff are part of an on-call rotation
- Attend mandatory team meetings.
