Oakdale Golf & Country Club is looking for a career minded individual to join their highly successful team of golf professionals. OGCC is an active and family-friendly club renown for it's exceptional and challenging championship golf course, premier junior golf academy and teaching programs, award-winning golf shop concession, and down-to-earth membership. Nestled along the Stanislaus River the town of Oakdale is 90 minutes east of San Francisco on the way to Yosemite National Park, 20 minutes east of the greater Stockton and Modesto areas, and is known as "The Cowboy Capital of The World".

The ideal applicant should be outgoing, have experience in teaching, and coaching, be comfortable working in a busy, and a team player that brings fun and energy to the club and its membership.

Job Description: The Assistant Golf Professional assists in the daily activities of the entire golf operation in accordance with the philosophy of The Head Golf Professional and General Manager, & the policies & procedures set forth by The OGCC Board of Directors. In order to ensure the highest level of service to OGCC Members & Guests, the Assistant Golf Professional must specifically participate in the performance of the following duties:
The administration of all Tournament Operations, the administration of the Golf Shop Merchandising Operation, participation in all Golf Instruction, assist in the management of all Golf Cart, Range, and Outside Services Operations staff, as well as various administrative duties as assigned by the Head Golf Professional.

  75% of PGA Dues and Education Paid - 100% after 2 Years.
• Education Travel 75% of PGA Education Travel Expenses - 100% after 2 Years
• Education Leave: Up to 5 Days Annually of Paid Industry Education Leave after 6 months.
• Club Privileges: Full playing privileges and club charge account for self and spouse
• Sick Leave: Paid sick leave of 1 full day per month up to a maximum of 9 days.
• Vacation: 1 Week after 6 months, 2 weeks after 2 years, 3 weeks after 5 years.
• Meals: 1 free meal per 6-hour shift, 2 free meals if more than 10 hours worked.
