McCoy Tire & Auto - Oakdale, CA is the premier shop for tires and all your automotive needs. Since opening in 1975, our customers have taken us along for the ride when selecting replacement tires or having maintenance work performed on their vehicles. Known for our superior knowledge about all types of replacement tires for passenger cars, light trucks, and off-road vehicles.

We also service what we sell, providing customers with computer spin and road force balancing, flat repairs, regular and low-profile tire installation, PAX tire service, and tire rotations. McCoy Tire & Auto is also a full-service shop, we offer quality automotive repair including wheel alignments, brake repair, and a host of other mechanical repairs

The Automotive Technician is responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles while adhering to the MAP guidelines and in accordance with dealership, manufacturers, and McCoy’s standards.

COMPENSATION: VARIES FROM $28.00 - $37.00 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certificationsli>
• Performs work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include the Store Manager, Service Consultants, and/or customers.
• Recommends services that are necessary to keep the customer’s vehicle in running condition; properly documents all recommendations in the customer file.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains appropriate ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications.

Qualifications
:

• Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience or training
• Possess valid driver’s license
• Ability to work five days per week
