Logistics Associate, Nights

Hassett Logistics is seeking a Logistics Associate, Nights to join our team at our Oakbrook Terrace, IL location. The Logistics Associate provides daily support for track and trace, routing, data entry, customer communication, and delivery confirmation.

Schedule:

Sunday and Monday, 4:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. and

Tuesday through Thursday, 5:00 p.m. through 1:00 a.m.
* * Must be available for overtime with little or no notice based on customers' schedules.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Track and trace shipments.

* Extensive e-mail and phone communications with customers and agents.

* Accurately enter data into transportation management system.

* Review and monitor daily airfreight/trucking activity.

* Improve and maintain customer relations.

* Provide accurate reports.

* Respond timely to customer needs for information, including but not limited to, updates on orders and proof of delivery.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* 1 year customer service experience in Transportation, preferred.

* Strong organizational skills.

* Experience with TMS systems preferred.

* Excellent communication and time-management skills.

* Must be able to multitask & prioritize efficiently.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office systems.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
