Project Leader

Project Leader manages medium and larger IT projects. 6 month to multiple year projects from $50,000 to $1,000,000 in budget. Assist in reviewing project proposal or plan to help determine time frame and procedures for accomplishing project. Carry out established work plan for each phase of project; prepare status reports and distribute to involved parties. Management, tracking and reporting of project financials.

Manage project scope through change control. Promote excellence in quality and customer service through work performed individually as well as within the department as a whole.

Manage medium and large IT projects, prepare status reports, track financials, control scope changes, and promote quality and customer service throughout the project.

• 5+ years project management experience or demonstration of project management skills
• 5-7 years overall business experience
• Experience in vendor management of purchased applications and contract onsite & offshore development teams
• Solid understanding of current technologies in area of expertise
• Strong analysis, design, and implementation experience with technologies
• Experience in SQL and Microsoft platforms is a must
• Understanding of how to leverage applications for project advantage
• Good verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in setting and managing customer expectations
• Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
• Solid project experience with ability to multitask in a cross-functional environment
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the Moving, Transportation, or Logistics Industry is a plus

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent, related project management experience
• Project management training/certification

Position Title: Project Leader
Salary Range: $100,000-$130,000 USD
