Associate Attorney – Generalist, Oakbrook

F3 Law provides legal support to the public schools that serve our children and communities. We have an opening for a Generalist attorney in our Oakbrook office who would like to help K-12 schools and community colleges navigate the broad range of operational legal issues they encounter. Working alongside collegial and results-oriented practitioners, the incumbent will work in multiple practice areas, including Labor & Employment
, Governance
, Students & Special Education
, Higher Education
, and Litigation
.

• Provide general civil and operational legal support to K-12 schools and community colleges across multiple practice areas.
• Collaborate with colleagues to address issues in Labor & Employment, Governance, Students & Special Education, Higher Education, and Litigation.

• At least two (2) years of legal experience.
• Member of the State Bar of Illinois.
• A second bar license in Iowa, Wisconsin, or Missouri is preferred.

This position’s base salary range is $110,000 – $150,000 per year. The actual base salary depends on the selected candidate’s years of practice and experience. The role follows a hybrid work model, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
