Employment Type: Full time Shift:
Description: This role primarily supports clinic operations during weekday hours 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM, with one weekly late shift until 8:00 PM. Shifts rotate among the team.
We are seeking a Front Desk Service Rep to promote a positive patient experience and support efficient clerical operations at Loyola Medicine.
Responsibilities- Scheduling and front-desk reception for Primary Care, OB, Lab, Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM), and Anti-Coag services
- Providing cross-coverage for other departments within the OBT location as needed, including Rehab, Surgery Center, and Pediatric Specialty
- Greeting patients:
Welcome and assist patients as they enter the physician practice with a warm, friendly demeanor - Phone management:
Answer office phones professionally, schedule appointments, and address inquiries - Patient registration:
Check in patients, collect demographic information, input data into the electronic system, and verify insurance details - Check-out assistance:
Assist patients during the check-out process, guide on referral processing, and schedule future appointments
- Minimum Education: GED or High School level of education required;
Associate's degree preferred - Minimum Qualifications: At least one (1) year of work history, required; experience in general administration, business, healthcare, or a related field is highly preferred
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. No visa sponsorship available
Pay Range: $18.00 - $24.44 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range and may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
