Overview
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong utility experience to support Transmission and Substation projects, including Protection & Control replacement and Transmission Line initiatives. This role requires a technically proficient leader who can manage projects from engineering through construction and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead transmission and substation projects through engineering, construction, outage coordination, testing, and commissioning
- Interpret one-line diagrams and technical documentation
- Manage construction sequencing and commissioning activities
- Identify and mitigate outage and operational risks
- Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, construction, and system operations teams
- 7+ years of utility project management experience
- Direct experience with substation and/or transmission projects
- Strong understanding of transmission & substation equipment and system operations
- Experience managing physical construction projects
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
- STEM degree preferred (relevant experience considered in lieu of technical degree)
