International Contractors, Inc. (ICI) is seeking seasoned, experienced, and driven traveling construction superintendents with commercial and industrial construction experience. Specific experience with Walmart Supercenter and Distribution Center construction projects will be strongly considered a plus. • Core member of a dedicated ICI team.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, trades and internal team members.
• Manage day‑to‑day activities of complex project sites in retail, restaurant and auto markets, ensuring top‑quality results through effective resource and construction process management.
• Maintain a safe work site by implementing housekeeping regulations and safety requirements, enforcing safe work habits, and observing OSHA and state‑level regulations.
• Oversee and inspect work in progress against designs, plans, specifications, subcontracts, shop drawings and overall craftsmanship.
• Reduce project risk through documentation, job‑site detail management, progress reporting, weekly site meetings, inspections, six‑week look‑ahead schedules and overall schedule management.
• Maintain client relationships by meeting and managing client expectations, professionally addressing concerns or escalating issues as appropriate.

• At least 5 years of supervisory construction experience at a GC/CM firm.
• Solid communication skills.
• Ability to produce innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• Results‑driven, able to manage multiple priorities.
• Computer skills:
  Windows PC, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Windows File Management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven supervisory and management skills to motivate/manage people and teams.
• Procore experience or certification is a plus.

• Walmart Safety, Employment, Waste, Stormwater Compliance Certification or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license.
• OSHA 30‑hour certification or ability to obtain.

• Walking on rough/uneven terrain, frequent pushing/pulling/carrying of equipment/objects/debris, bending, lifting, and climbing the job site.
• Extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking; climbing multiple flights of stairs and ladders repeatedly.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
