Senior Accountant Financial Reporting

We are seeking a Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting to join a high-performing corporate accounting team within a large, publicly traded organization. This role plays a key part in the preparation of external financial statements, SEC filings, and technical accounting analysis, while partnering cross-functionally to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.

This position is well suited for a detail-oriented accountant with strong GAAP knowledge, SEC reporting experience, and exposure to complex, multi-entity environments.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
• Assist in the preparation of SEC filings
  , including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, as well as earnings releases and footnote disclosures
• Support quarter-end and year-end close processes
  , including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis
• Perform technical accounting research and draft accounting memos for new or complex transactions (ASC guidance)
• Coordinate with internal teams (FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal) to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Serve as a key liaison with external auditors
  , supporting audit requests and resolving issues efficiently
• Maintain and improve SOX controls and documentation related to financial reporting
• Assist with system enhancements, process improvements, and automation initiatives
• Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to team development

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s a plus)
• CPA required or actively pursuing
• 3–6+ years of relevant experience in public accounting (Big 4 or national firm preferred) and/or large public company environment
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Experience with consolidations
  , financial statement preparation, and disclosures
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
  ; experience with large ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar) preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, public-company reporting environment
