Infection Preventionist RN

, a not-for-profit community mental health center headquartered in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for an LPN to function as Full-Time (30 hrs/wk) Infection Preventionist.

HOPE | HEALING | RECOVERY

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and possess an LPN license issued by the Tennessee Board of Nursing. A minimum of three years of nursing experience and a working knowledge of epidemiology, infectious diseases, and aseptic techniques, to include Standard Precautions, is required. A minimum of two years of experience in Infection Prevention/Employee Health is preferred. Psychiatric/mental health experience is preferred.

Computer skills required, particularly MS Word and MS Excel. Must be a quick learner with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

This position combines management of the Infection Prevention Program and delivery of Employee Health Services. Related job functions include some staffatom education.
