Maintenance Mechanic ; Swing Shift

Responsible for repair, installation and general upkeep of manufacturing machinery and/or facility. Works within a team environment to meet departmental goals and objectives. Maintains work area cleanliness.

• Perform preventative maintenance such as changing coolants, lubricants or filters, following a set schedule.
• Perform facility maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, painting, replacing filters, simple plumbing, etc.
• Inspect and perform basic maintenance and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment using manual and power tools.
• Partner with senior mechanics to repair more complex manufacturing or facility equipment.
• Wear required personal protective equipment at all times in areas where mandatory.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

• One (1) year relevant experience.

• Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions.
• Basic math, computer and time-management skills.
• Ability to self‑direct work to complete projects within a defined time frame.
• Knowledge of machine repair, plumbing, pipe fitting, welding, sheet metal, mill‑wright and/or general maintenance.
• Must exhibit attention to detail as well as excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds.
