Source Technician

The Source House Technician is responsible for the high-level calibration, troubleshooting, integration and testing of Mirion systems, in accordance with Manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures. The Sources House Technician will be expected to schedule assets as necessary and effectively and efficiently communicate any constraints to management.

Essential Duties

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair customer equipment.
• Calibration of electronic equipment.
• Prelim and final test of completed products.
• A. function (make ready for shipment).
• Comply with Quality Procedures.
• Produce, communicate, and maintain schedule for assets.
• Visually inspect manufactured items for cosmetics, workmanship, soldering, conformance to drawings, and quality standards.
• Verify proper revision levels and markings per prints.
• Investigate, research, and identify components in error.
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Final assembly (i.e.: hardware, wiring and soldering).

Additional Requirements

• Ability to pass Trustworthiness and Reliability clearance.
• Good soldering skills.
• Ability to identify components.
• Mechanical assembly skills.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Use of all test equipment (meter, scope).
• Understand basic electronics.
• Knowledge of SAP and SharePoint.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Verbal and Listening Skills required.
• Clearly communicate in both oral and written form.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience
  • At least one-year post-high school education in electronics, electrical engineering, or similar discipline,OR 3 years' electronics related experience.
