• Serve as the Program Manager of Quality Modernization within the Secondary Stage Production Modernization Organization. Responsible for program scope at the Y-12 NSC in Quality Modernization within the Secondary Stage Production Modernization Program area
• Integrate, as the Program Manager, with Mission Assurance, Production Integration, Production Operations, Mission Engineering, Program Integration, Projects Management, and other support organizations that provide direct support for Quality Modernization program scope
• Provide program level management and control for planning, authorizing, and monitoring the accomplishment of work within approved technical scope, schedule, and funding constraints
• Define and manage all risks and changes to baseline program funding, work scope, and schedules to minimize impacts with respect to successful completion of the mission within CNS and throughout the NSE

• Bachelor's degree:
  Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• OR Master's degree:
  Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• OR PhD:
  Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.

  Education and Experience:
  
  Preferred candidate will have a degree in a technical, scientific, or business-related discipline, combined with at least 9 years of related experience or at least 7 years of related experience with a Master s degree. PMP certification preferred but not required.
• The position requires a thorough knowledge of CNS Y-12 processes, policies and procedures; knowledge of functional organization interactions and processes and systems. Must have knowledge of the quality organization and processes at the Y-12 NSC. Working knowledge with production integration, project planning and schedule integration is desired. Prepares technical documents, status reports, project/program presentations, and technical reviews. Plans, organizes, coordinates, and controls program/projects in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems and requirements.
  
  The ability to provide program level direction and control for planning and monitoring the accomplishment of work within approved technical scope, schedule, and funding constraints; the ability to logically and systematically evaluate program and process problems to determine appropriate solutions; and the ability to direct, coordinate, and facilitate the activities of technical and administrative program personnel
• This position requires demonstrated ability to effectively interface with internal functional organizations and external customers, including NNSA Production Office, other NNSA sites, and DOE headquarters. This includes representing the Quality Modernization Program in meetings and negotiations; demonstrated skill presenting technical information clearly and effectively through oral and written communications; and ability to perform duties with initiative, independent judgment and discretion
• Previous experience as a project manager is preferred
