Cryogenic Mechanical Engineer – Vacuum Systems & Prototyping

A leading technology firm in Oak Ridge, Tennessee is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide technical expertise in designing and manufacturing High Purity Germanium detectors. The role involves the design and fabrication of cryogenic vacuum systems, as well as collaboration with R&D and manufacturing teams to meet production goals. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and possess 3–5 years of relevant experience.

This position also requires proficiency in Solid Works and a strong understanding of cryogenic systems.
