RF Cable Test Technician (Secure Federal Facility — Y-12)

We’re seeking an experienced RF Cable Test Technician to support a large-scale coax cable validation project at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN. This project includes sweeping, testing, and documenting over 500 coax cables across multiple buildings within a highly secure federal facility.
Responsibilities- Perform RF sweep testing on coax cables.
- Verify and replace connectors as needed.
- Record all results according to strict QA/QC standards.
- Adhere to federal security and safety protocols (no personal electronics allowed on site).
Phase 1 begins November 10, 2025 (2 weeks), followed by Phase 2 starting early 2026 (up to 6 months). Consistent schedule (Mon–Fri, 8–5).

Qualifications- U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance.
- Minimum 2+ years of RF/coax testing experience.
