Positions: (2) SUMMER LEARNING COORDINATORS
Location:
(1) OAKRIDGE LOWER ELEMENTARY and (1) OAKRIDGE MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL
The Summer Learning Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing an innovative summer learning program for students in grades K-6 and/or grades 7-8.
QUALIFICATIONS- Master’s Degree from accredited institution.
- Valid school administrator certificate in the State of Michigan.
- Experience with curriculum development and leadership.
- Demonstrated successful communication skills with students, staff, administrators, parents and community (phone, email, and in-person).
- Experience with including community partners to offer new experiences to students.
- Demonstrated successful prior leadership experience in engaging students, staff, parents, and community in building a positive culture with high expectations, pride, and respect.
- Ability to coordinate a fun, engaging learning environment.
April-May:
Preparation Work and Collaboration (approximately 2 hours/week)
June 1-12:
Assist with any final preparation needs
June 15-July 17:
Supervising and assisting with any adjustments or needs of the 4-week summer program. Days/
Hours:
M - F, 7:30 am - 12:30 pm
No School week of June 29 - July 3, 2026
COMPENSATIONSalary to be determined
