Overview
Assistant Teacher – Early Learning Center
As an Assistant Teacher at the Early Learning Center, you support lead teachers in planning and implementing classroom activities, supervise children to ensure safety, assist with personal care needs (diapering, feeding, toileting), maintain a clean and engaging learning environment, encourage positive behaviors, and document each child’s daily experiences and developmental progress. You play a vital role in creating a nurturing, inclusive space where every child is supported and celebrated.
Responsibilities- Support lead teachers in planning and implementing classroom activities
- Supervise children to ensure safety
- Assist with personal care needs (diapering, feeding, toileting)
- Maintain a clean, engaging learning environment
- Encourage positive behaviors and inclusive practices
- Document each child’s daily experiences and developmental progress
- Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour (based on experience)
