Field Service Mechanic
Chet's Rent-all seeks high-energy individuals to build our team of talented rental professionals.
Ideal candidates can control repair, inventory, & labor costs through proper diagnostics. Workloads are expected to be managed independently & ensure the quality, compliance & safety of Chet's Rent-All assets.
Responsibilities- Required travel to customer job sites to perform repairs, general maintenance, and overseeing the recovery of customer-rented equipment.
- Diagnose & repair all forms of rental equipment & tools in the shop and the field.
- Initiate, maintain, & complete work orders, as well as log equipment in & out of the shop through Chet's operating system.
- Take pride in your workplace and service vehicle by sustaining a well-organized, functional space that contributes to a positive & constructive rental equipment repair process.
- Consistent, regular, & reliable attendance, including being ready for work at the designated start time.
- Transport, deliver, & retrieve assorted construction & heavy equipment when required.
- Complete corporate training & assist in training multiple unfamiliar staff members according to company standards.
- Comply with the OSHA & company's safety standards, policies, & procedures.
- Minor facilities repair & maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral & written.
- Possess the ability to learn and effectively navigate our operation system.
- Five years of documented mechanic experience.
- Willingness to work remotely (customer's job site).
- A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a chauffeur's driver's license and DOT medical card.
- Willing to work overtime and after regular business hours as needed.
- Ability to frequently lift items to 60 lbs.
- Possess mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.

Salary: $25.00 - $37.00 per hour
