Brookdale is seeking a Health and Wellness role based in Chicago, IL. This position includes responsibilities for overseeing day-to-day healthcare operations within the community, ensuring resident care with dignity and quality, supervising licensed nursing staff and Caregivers, coordinating medication training and audits, and participating in on-call duties. The role requires education to obtain a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
The position is part of a team with opportunities for bonuses and may have varying benefit eligibility depending on employment status.
- Manage day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to meet residents’ healthcare needs.
- Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and maintain quality care as needs evolve.
- Maintain consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts; may assume roles of Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide as needed for staffing.
- Assist supervision of licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA’s, and Caregivers; provide ongoing training and manage associate schedules.
- Oversee medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision/administration; conduct periodic medication skill checks and audits per Brookdale guidelines.
- Share on-call duties as required.
- Obtain education to qualify for state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and possess 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- LPN or LVN license.
- Current LPN/LVN or RN licensure as required by the state.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant healthcare experience in a resident care setting.

Base pay is determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Role may be eligible for team-based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.
