Base pay range: $55,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr
Position SummaryThe Restaurant Manager is responsible for assisting in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. As a member of the management team, you will be responsible for general oversight of daily operations and restaurant management. This role includes staff management oversight and training; ensure food preparation is done per guidelines; maintain the highest quality of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation at the restaurant;
verify the customers experience a quality dining environment; maintain a sense of team cohesiveness. Restaurant Managers work 50+ hours/week, but may be required to work up to 60 hours/week as determined by the volume of business.
- Training new employees on restaurant procedures
- Collaborating with leadership to create shift schedule and assignments
- Motivating colleagues to maintain restaurant standards of excellence
- Monitoring all equipment and supplies
- Handling customer issues as they arise
- Documenting inventory concerns
- Maintaining sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
- Serving orders to customers at windows, counters, or tables
- Taking food and drink orders and receiving payment from customers, as needed
- 1-2 years Quick Service or Fast Food experience preferred
- 1-2 years food preparation experience preferred
- 1-2 years restaurant and cash handling experience preferred
- Ability to handle stress under pressure and in fast‑paced situations
- Ability to work well with others and collaborate as a member of a team
- Basic math, calculation, and computer skills
- Positive attitude
- Current certifications as required by state and local laws
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation rules
Employees are regularly required to talk or hear, stand, sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. They must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Tasting and smelling abilities are required occasionally to distinguish differences or similarities in intensity or quality of flavors and/or odors. Employees may be occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and hot liquids. Noise level is usually moderate.
