Rehabilitation Technician – Oak Lawn – Physical/Occupational Therapy
Full‑time, 30–40 hours per week.
Hours:
Monday 10:00 am–5:00 pm, Tuesday 12:00 pm–7:00 pm, Wednesday 10:00 am–5:00 pm, Thursday 12:00 pm–7:00 pm, Friday as scheduled by manager.
Location:
Oak Lawn. Expected to travel to additional sites for coverage as needed.

Under the direct supervision of the Clinic Director, the Rehabilitation Technician will be responsible for:
- Patient care, support, and guidance
- Executing plans of care under guidance of PT/OT providers
- Proper setup and adjustment of exercise equipment
- Assisting with set up and delivery of modalities (e.g., electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hot/cold packs, etc.)
- Utilizing educational techniques including demonstration and cueing to ensure patient understanding of exercises
- Monitoring patient safety and response to exercise intensity
- Discussing patient performance with PT/OT provider
- Managing clinic flow: monitoring patient arrivals, keeping patients on schedule, maintaining cleanliness of clinic, ordering supplies under management direction
- Front‑end tasks: check‑in, co‑pay/financial responsibility collection, answering phones, scheduling future appointments, communicating via chat about patient insurance benefits, scheduling management for clinicians
- CPR certification required (certification offered through Duly Health and Care)
- High school diploma
- Knowledge of common medical terminology and abbreviations
- Understanding of principles and contraindications/precautions of therapy modalities
- Ability to identify proper patient set‑up on each piece of equipment and adjust accordingly
- Identify planes of movement and demonstrate proper exercise positioning
- Team‑oriented
- Attention to detail and follow‑through
- Problem solving, lateral thinking, and reasoning skills
- Communication skills
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $16.25–18.00 per hour with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
