POSITION OVERVIEW

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for all clinical aspects of treatment for the patients they oversee. This includes assessment and analysis of the patient’s skills and challenging behaviors, development of treatment plans, overseeing the implementation of treatment, collaboration with and training of caregivers, and ongoing coaching and training of behavioral technicians. Clinical Supervisors report to the Group Clinical Manager. This is a salaried, exempt, full‑time position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Use clinical judgment to promote optimal outcomes for each patient
  • Develop and maintain treatment plans
  • Ensure that all supervision hours are 100% treatment adherence each month
  • Evaluate patients to identify both skill deficits and strengths
  • Analyze challenging behaviors to identify the function of the behavior
  • Develop functionally relevant treatment plans to reduce challenging behaviors
  • Observe treatment implementation for potential program revisions
  • Monitor treatment integrity to ensure satisfactory implementation of treatment protocols
  • Direct behavior technicians in the implementation of new or revised treatment protocols
  • Provide ongoing coaching and training to behavioral technicians
  • Primarily work physically within the center to support technicians and follow best practices of direct observation
  • Summarize and analyze data to evaluate patient progress toward treatment goals and adjust treatment protocols based on data
  • Update treatment plans at least once per month based on patient response to treatment
  • Fulfill a minimum of 120 payor/client‑authorized billable hours per month, inclusive of supervisory hours and therapy hours
  • Accurately communicate treatment response to stakeholders (i.e., caregivers, payers)
  • Coordinate care with other professionals
  • Administer, complete, and score standardized assessments
  • Include caregivers as part of the treatment team, as evidenced by consistent Caregiver Collaboration meetings
  • Interact with payers in a collaborative, professional, thorough, and informative manner
  • Engage with payers as needed for funding meetings (e.g., IEP, peer reviews)
  • Stay up to date on best practices for ABA treatment to ensure clinical excellence
  • Maintain appropriate documentation in Skills and the patient’s medical record
  • Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA requirements at all times
  • Partner with center leadership including Operations Manager, Clinical Supervisors, Administrative Coordinator Technician, and Behavior Technician Leads
  • Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field
  • Certification as a behavior analyst from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
