Family Service Counselor

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Family Service Counselor located in Oak Creek, WI. The Family Service Counselor will work directly with families to provide guidance and support in their time of need, assisting them with memorialization choices and pre-planning services. Responsibilities include discerning and presenting the best options to the family, generating leads, contract creation, and maintaining clear and compassionate communication with clients.

The role will also involve collaboration with funeral homes to ensure a smooth experience for the family.

• Proficiency in Lead Generation and related practices
• Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with families, outside professionals and team members
• Experience in pre-planning and end of life services a plus
• Empathy, emotional resilience, and the ability to guide grieving families
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with customer relationship management software
