Role OverviewA Day (and Night) in This Role
On our 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 pm–7:00 am), you’ll lead the value stream across two high-speed lines, guiding a team of 58–62 associates. Your shift kicks off with a safety and quality huddle, aligning with partners in Quality Assurance, Warehousing, Sanitation, and Maintenance. You’ll monitor OEE, attack bottlenecks, reduce downtime, and champion Lean practices—while upholding GMP, SQF, and HACCP standards to deliver consistently exceptional garlic bread.
WhatYou’ll Own
- Direct daily production and packaging on two high-speed lines to maintain flow and hit plan.
- Coordinate with QA, Warehousing, Sanitation, and Maintenance to ensure seamless operations.
- Improve OEE by eliminating losses, minimizing changeover time, and solving root causes.
- Coach, develop, and engage associates; fuel continuous improvement and problem-solving.
- Drive safety and food safety compliance: GMP, SQF, HACCP.
- Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) trending upward
- Reduced machine downtime and fewer food safety incidents
- Proactive health and safety incident prevention
- Improved quality and waste reduction
- 2–3 years of manufacturing leadership experience with a hands-on, problem-solving style.
- Lean, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma exposure; ability to lead kaizen-level activities.
- Proven team leadership and talent development skills.
- Comfort with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Steadfast commitment to safety and quality.
- Travel: up to 1–2 times per year within Canada and USA for training.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)

- Salary: $80,000 – $90,000
