Preschool Teacher – Floater Position
Position OverviewThis teacher position requires crafting an enriched learning experience and creating a positive environment that helps to set the stage where milestones are celebrated and encouraged. Our program serves preschool children 6 weeks – 12 years of age. Programs include:
- Infant
- Toddler
- Preschool 1
- Preschool 2
- Pre‑K
- Before and After Care
- Provide patience with a listening ear.
- Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.
- Use excellent writing skills to deliver child’s progress to parents and other teachers.
- Design an appropriate classroom arrangement to support the goals and development.
- Show creativity by using new and innovative ways to engage children to learn.
- Use instructional skills to communicate concepts clearly.
- Be empathetic to children’s emotions and parents’ needs.
- Participate in staff and training meetings.
- Present expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level.
- Plan and implement activities that develop self‑esteem and social skills.
- Build teamwork.
- Use assessment tools.
- Commit to continuing education.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Must meet State Requirement (EC1).
- Working knowledge in childhood education.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.

$13.00 to $16.00 hourly, final compensation based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. Position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives or other benefits.
